Glenfield is a small, privately owned historic property with a limited number of guest rooms. When a room is reserved, it is removed from available inventory and may no longer be available for sale to other guests. The following cancellation policy applies to reservations made directly with Glenfield and through third-party booking channels, including third party booking sites, and other online travel agencies displaying Glenfield's reservation policies.
Glenfield understands that travel plans sometimes change. For regular lodging reservations cancelled prior to arrival, monetary refunds will not be issued. Instead, the eligible value of the reservation will be provided as a Glenfield Gift Certificate/Credit, subject to the following terms.
For a reservation of one night only, the lodging charge for that night is non-refundable and will be forfeited upon cancellation. When applicable, any remaining eligible amount paid toward the reservation will be issued as a Glenfield Gift Certificate/Credit, less a $50 cancellation/administrative fee.
For reservations of two or more nights, the first night's lodging charge is non-refundable.
The eligible value paid toward the remaining nights will be issued as a Glenfield Gift Certificate/Credit, less a $50 cancellation/administrative fee. No cash, check, credit-card, or other monetary refund will be issued.
Reservations made for designated blackout dates, major Natchez events, or other high-demand and citywide sell-out periods are non-refundable.

If a guest cancels a reservation occurring during one of these periods, no monetary refund will be issued. The eligible value of the cancelled reservation will instead be issued as a Glenfield Gift Certificate/Credit. The Gift Certificate/Credit must be used within one (1) year of the original scheduled arrival date and is subject to availability, applicable blackout dates, and the rates and prices in effect when the replacement reservation is made.
Reservations that include a package of lodging together with tours, attraction or historic-home tickets, food and beverage, afternoon tea, entertainment, transportation, special events, guides, or other services are non-refundable.
Because package components may be purchased, prepared, ordered, reserved, or financially committed in advance, cancellation of a package will result in a Gift Certificate/Credit for the eligible remaining value of the reservation after applicable cancellation/rebooking charges and any non-recoverable costs already incurred or committed by Glenfield.
Package components involving advance-purchased tickets, food and beverage, special events, or other reserved services may also be subject to an applicable restocking/rebooking fee.
Gift Certificates/Credits issued for package cancellations must be used within one (1) year of the original scheduled arrival date. Upon rebooking, all lodging, tickets, meals, tours, and other package components will be subject to availability and then-current pricing. The guest is responsible for any increase in price.
Additional Guests: Rates are based on double occupancy. Additional registered guests beyond the first two incur a charge of $50 per person, per night, plus applicable taxes, to cover lodging, breakfast, utilities, internet access, housekeeping, and use of the property and grounds.
Pets: Pet-friendly rooms are available by advance request. A $75 pet fee and $100 refundable pet deposit are required for pets and emotional support animals. Owners are responsible for all pet-related damage, odors, stains, excessive cleaning, scratching, or other losses. Pets must be kenneled or otherwise secured when left unattended. Damage or excessive cleaning may result in partial or full forfeiture of the deposit and additional charges if necessary. Service animals are welcome; however, guests remain responsible for any damage caused by the animal.

Please note that for lodging reservations, we reserve the right to relocate your accommodations to another room or property of similar quality by informing you in advance (if applicable) in case such a change becomes necessary. This may occur due to maintenance issues, or reasons beyond our control. All lodging arrangements will be specified according to the type of bedding you requested and will include breakfast if applicable.
At Glenfield, we take disputes seriously and strive to ensure a fair resolution for all parties involved. It is important to note that any disputes, regardless of their nature, will result in the forfeiture of the issued gift certificate.
At Glenfield Bed & Breakfast, we strive to offer a unique and authentic experience within our historic 175-year-old residence. As a privately owned property with limited accommodations, all bookings are final and non-refundable. Upon check-in, you will have 20 minutes to inform the innkeeper of any issues in your room, allowing us the opportunity to address them promptly or relocate you to another room. Please note, as a historic home located in the countryside, certain environmental factors such as dust accumulation or the occasional insect may occur despite our best efforts.
By staying one night without raising concerns, you acknowledge satisfaction with your room, and no refund will be provided for early departures. Since we close out inventory for your reservation and schedule staff accordingly, we are unable to rebook the room, resulting in a loss of revenue. In the event of an early checkout, a gift certificate will be offered for the remaining nights, valid for one year from the original check-in date. All deposits are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding of the unique nature of staying in a historic home and thank you for choosing Glenfield.
For any guest requesting early check-in prior to 3:00 p.m., a day rate will apply. Guests will be advised of the applicable rate in advance and given the opportunity to accept or decline the early check-in charge.
